The french mezzo-soprano Anaïs Yvoz studied singing and music theory in the Lausanne’s Music Academy where she graduated with a master of Arts in opera singing and interpretation. She had the opportunity to work on her interpretation of the early music repertoire in the Centre de Musique ancienne of Geneva, with conductors Garbriel Garrido and Leonardo Garcia Alarcon. Her curious temper added to a flexible and colorful voice led her to work as a soloist with multiple ensembles, mainly in France and Switzerland, where she performed a various repertoire going from early music and opera to contemporary music, operette and musical.

From 2017 to 2019, Anaïs was a member of the National Opera Studio in the Strasbourg’s Opera, where she was remarked by her taste for interpretation and comedy. She performed the roles of Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro, Mozart), Second Sheep and Angel (Mouton, Kassies), Périzade (Barkouf, Offenchach), Zerlina (Don Giovanni, Mozart). She had the opportunity to learn main opera roles as a cover, such as Melisande in Debussy’s Pelleas et Melisande, or Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. During the season 2019-2020, she was invited as a guest at the Opéra National du Rhin to perform the roles of Chava (Un Violon sur le Toit, Bock), and Zweite Blumenmädchen (Parsifal, Wagner).

Anaïs was invited in March 2021 to sing in the creation Hémon, by Zad Moultaka, during the Festival Ars Mundo in the Opera National du Rhin in Strasbourg, with the radio France Musique. She made her debuts in Germany by singing the part of Tisbe, in Rossini’s Cenerentola in August 2021. For her new creation of the 2021-2022 season, the parisian company Arcal lyrique gave her the part of Antiope, in the classical opera Talestri, by Maria Antonia de Walpurgis, with the Concert de l’Hostel Dieu led by F-E. Comte. In 2022, Anaïs sings as an alto soloist in severals concerts in Norway, Sweden and Finland with the Orkester Nord led by the norwegian conductor Martin Wahlberg. During the summer 2022, she sings the role of Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto in Germany (Bad Schwalbach), in september 2022, she is invited again by the Opera National du Rhin to sing the role of the second Woman in the creation Until the Lions, by Thierry Pécou and in december, she makes her debuts in the Alte Oper Frankfurt for a Opera Gala. In 2023, she sings many oratorio concerts as alto solo, and goes back to Verdi’s Maddalena in Rheinfelden with the company Opera Classica Europa.
